A brand new title based on SNK’s IP – サムライスピリッツ (translation: SAMURAI SPIRITS, English: Samurai Shodown) just started the service on December 3rd, 2018 in China under the name Samurai Shodown: The Legend of Hazy Moon. The game is designed and published for Android and iOS platforms by Tencent. The company also revealed that they have planned to publish it globally but detailed information such as pre-registration, release date, etc. isn’t shared yet. If don’t want to wait or want to take a look first, players can download directly from official website or via third-party app, however the language in game is Chinese (Simplified). In China, it has been launched as free-to-play app with in-app purchases (price range: ¥1/item¥648/item, ※NOTE: This is Chinese Yuan, the currency may change based on buyer’s region), take note that gacha system is also implemented just like other mobile games. The game follows action RPG genre with traditional combat system: To win a battle or complete a mission, players have to skillfully combine between basic attack, special attack and ultimate skill to take down all the enemies. Besides, when being attacked, players can dodge to avoid taking the damage. The game owns an anime-style art under 3D graphics. When starting, players can choose one out of four classes including Miko, Archer, Ninja and Samurai. Furthermore, there are many modes for players to explore such as story, challenge, PVE and even PVP.
