Big Crown: Showdown has arrived in Switch (Nintendo) console on January 21st, 2019 in Japan, take note that it has been launched on January 4th, 2019 in North America. The game is designed by Hyper Luminal Games. Besides Switch, it has been published for PlayStation 4 (Sony), Xbox One (Microsoft) consoles and PC via Steam on December 14th, 2018, all are by Sold Out Sales & Marketing. As for Switch, the publisher offers only digital license with the price is ¥1,390/copy (tax included) (※NOTE: This is Japanese Yen, the currency may change based on buyer’s region, plus some retailers may offer cheaper price). The game follows casual genre, action style with a simple rule – take down all the foes to become the winner, it is all about a battle royal combat that runs around four players. The game supports both local and online modes. For local mode, all four players can enjoy the game with only one Switch system but each player needs one controller to play, can use either Joy-Con (left/right only or both) or Pro Controller. For online mode, players can connect and play globally all over the world, however it requires Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The game owns an cartoon-style art under 2.5D graphics with all characters in game are featured in their chibi forms.
