Team Cherry has announced the sequel for their 2017-released Hollow Knight title called Hollow Knight: Silksong. Player will be playing as Hornet, one of the NPCs in the last title, adventure through a whole new kingdom ruled by silk and song.The game will be available for Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux. Publisher 505 Games announced that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC this summer. The game is produced by Koji Igarashi, the creator of Castlevania: Symphony of the night and father of all metroidvania of the following years. Watch the trailer here
Mikage LLC, the new company established by former Imageepoch president Ryoei Mikage has announced Criminal Girls X (game title for JP region only, with the approval of Nippon Ichi Software Company), released for smartphones and PC, with VR-Compatible settings. The publisher planned to release it in the west, but unsure of the platform ( though interview with Gematsu revealed that Mikage plans to released on other platforms such as PS4). The game price plan is currently not revealed (announcement planned for April 26)
A new title called Team Sonic Racing will start the service globally on May 21st, 2019. The game is designed and will be published for PlayStation 4 (Sony), Switch (Nintendo) consoles and PC via Steam. For consoles, the company offers both physical disc/cartridge and digital license, players can choose one out of three editions to purchase the game including: Standard, DX Pack and DX Pack 3D Crystal Set with the prices are ¥5,990/copy, ¥10,090/pack and ¥13,590/pack respectively, all are tax excluded (※NOTE: This is Japanese Yen, the currency may change based on buyer’s region, plus some retailers may offer cheaper price). DX Pack consists of x1 copy of the game, x1 postcard box, x2 rock glasses, x1 motel keychain, x2 flat pouches. DX Pack 3D Crystal Set is same as DX Pack but adds x1 3D crystal, however sample image isn’t shared yet. For Steam, they offer only digital license with Standard edition, players can purchase directly via Steam software/app with the price is ¥5,990/license (※NOTE: The currency may change based on buyer’s region, plus Steam may make the price more affordable for some countries based on their living costs). The game follows sport genre, exactly is racing style with cartoon-style art under 3D graphics. It supports up to four players in local mode and up to 12 players in online mode.
Onigiri will come to Switch (Nintendo) console on January 31st, 2019 as well as expand on PC by allowing download and play via Steam in February, 2019 but specific date isn’t shared. The game is originally designed for PC and first released in 2013 by CyberStep. Currently, it’s available on PC via client, PlayStation 4 (Sony), PS Vita (Sony) and Xbox One (Microsoft) consoles. The game especially supports cross-platform so players can play with friends on many platforms without problem. It follows MMORPG genre with anime-style art under 3D graphics.
