Idea Factory just announced a new title in Hyperdimension Neptunia series called Mega Miracle Force as the celebration project of the company 25th year anniversary. The game is designed for Android and iOS by Idea Factory. The company planned to release it in late January, 2019 in Japan, however specific date isn’t shared yet. They didn’t reveal any plan regarding to global release yet, so if deciding to play, players have to download via Japan Play Store or third-party app, plus the language in game is Japanese. Currently, players already can pre-register the game on its official website to receive newest information as well as pre-registration rewards. According to the information written on the official website, it will be launched as free-to-play with in-app purchases (estimated price range: ¥120/item¥9,800/item, ※NOTED: This is Japanese Yen, the currency may change based on buyer’s region), there is a high chance that gacha system will be implemented just like other mobile games. The game follows turn-based RPG genre and owns an anime-style art under 2D graphics with all characters in game are featured in their chibi forms. Furthermore, many characters from Compile Heart and Idea Factory are expected to appear in the game.

A new title in Million Arthur series called Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur just started the service on November 29th, 2018 in Japan. The game is designed for Android and iOS platforms by the joint development between Square Enix and NetEase Games. The game has been published in Japan under the name 叛逆性ミリオンアーサー by Square Enix, while in China it has been published under the name 叛逆性百万亚瑟王 (2018) by NetEase Games. The companies didn’t reveal any plan regarding to global release yet, so if deciding to play, players need to choose either Japan client or China client. For Japan client, players have to download via Japan Play Store or third-party app, and the language in game is Japanese. For China client, players have to download directly from its official website or via third-party app, and the language in game is Chinese. A new title in Shining series called BLADE ARCUS Rebellion from Shining will start the service on March 14th, 2019 in Japan. The game is designed for PlayStation 4 (Sony) and Switch (Nintendo) consoles by Studio Saizensen, and will be published by Sega Games. The publisher offers two purchase options including Standard Edition and Premium Fan Box Edition with estimated prices are ¥5,990/copy (tax excluded) and ¥9,490/package (tax excluded) respectively (※NOTE: This is Japanese Yen, the currency may change based on buyer’s region, plus some retailers may offer cheaper price). The Premium Fan Box Edition consists of x1 copy of the game, x1 costume DLC code, x1 artbook, x1 drama CD, x1 music CD, x1 collector box and x3 posters. Just like the previous title – Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena (2016), the game follows fighting genre with two-on-two tag battle system and owns an anime-style art under 2D graphics. Furthermore, it will introduce to players 6 six new characters from Shining Resonance Refrain including Yuma Ilburn, Kirika Towa Alma, Sonia Blanche, Rinna Mayfield, Zest Graham and Excela Noa Aura.

TAMAGOTCHI & POKÉMON COLLABORATION BRINGS OUT EEVEE

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment just announced a new collaboration between Tamagotchi and Pokémon. This brand new Tamagotchi device will be published on January 26th, 2019 in Japan with estimated price is ¥2,300/device (tax excluded). However, the company didn’t reveal any plan regarding to global release yet. There are two versions of Tamagotchi device including I Love Eevee and Colorful Friends. Each offers brown and pink colors for the shell respectively. In spite of two versions being showed, owners can only raise one specific Pokémon called Eevee with eight evolution forms including Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. The form is decided based on how the owner has took care for Eevee. Furthermore, besides all the forms mentioned above, there are also some other hidden forms.
