Western Digital’s SanDisk and Micron brands both just introduced their newest UHS-I microSDXC products at Mobile World Congress, those are also the world’s first 1 Terabyte microSD cards. As for SanDisk card, it is able to achieve up to 160MB/s read speed. While Micron card only reaches 100MB/s, however, its write speed is 5MB/s faster at up to 95MB/s making it became the winner of max write performance. Western Digital revealed that their 1TB microSD card will be available on the market in April 2019 with the retail price is $449.99/card (tax included) (※NOTE: This is US Dollar, the currency may change based on buyer’s region, plus some retailers may offer cheaper price). Micron hasn’t yet declared the release date as well as the price, however they promised that the card will be competitively priced when it is released in the second quarter of 2019.
